What is laser eye surgery?

Laser eye surgery is a procedure performed on the eye, typically on the cornea and other internal structures to correct vision problems.

Will my vision be perfect after the surgery?

Your surgeon will aim for 20/20 vision in both eyes so that you don’t need to use your glasses or contact lenses on a regular basis. However, there are no guarantees, and you should be prepared to use your glasses or contact lenses for some activities after surgery.

How do I make sure I have the best surgeon?

We recommend that you do your best to seek out personal recommendations. If you don’t know anyone who has personally had a great experience with a laser eye surgeon, request references from any providers you are considering. A good laser eye surgeon will seek to reassure you and connect you with former patients
